Recently BRIO printed “Living Your Dream” by Josh Golder about his struggle living with Crohn’s and Colitis disease.  I have been reading it and learning a lot more about the disease since my mother-in-law was diagnosed with it in November.  She spent a week in the hospital and it was very scary for us.

In December I joined Facebook to reconnect with others and keep tabs on my friends.  I received an email from a high school friend, Heidi Fentress, who is an RN nurse raising money for Crohn’s & Colitis.  Their is no cure and not many people know much about it.  She is trying to raise $5400 by mid-May for her fundraiser.  

Heidi wrote “Hi John- Good to see you are doing well! Thanks for the post! I am trying to raise $5400.00 in Donations by mid-May. I would greatly appreciate anything you can do to help out this great cause as you know since it has touched your family personally. Please forward on my webpage to any individuals you think are able to help out. Corporate sponsors of 1,000 receive thier name on our Rocky mt. Team t-shirts. Donations can be made right on my webpage and a tax deductable receipt can be printed there as well. Let me know info on the new book so I can share that info as well when it is in publication!”
